Jeep Renegade. Only 25% of the 7 bars is functional, the other 3/4 is all heritage.

The world is sadly full of fake scoops, intakes, outtakes, and vents; but the first time I saw a Renegade in the real world I was really taken back by the solid plastic expanse of fakery it was sporting.

Are there worse plastic egg crates out there?

yeah - it certainly is “distinctive”... The last couple generations of Toyota noses have been pretty weird. I’ll bet that Jeep grill is blocked out to improve aero - maybe pick up another half mpg by limiting airflow through the grill....

The first gen Chrysler Sebring. The top “grill” is 0% functional, the only holes are weep holes for water to drain out of it.
